Hammy the hamster was a little ball of energy, always up to something mischievous in the cozy apartment of his owner, Lily. With his chubby cheeks and bright, curious eyes, Hammy had a knack for finding himself in peculiar situations. But nothing could top the legendary day of The Cup Incident.Now, to Hammy, the table was a mountain. A towering fortress guarding the treasure he sought. But Hammy wasn’t one to back down from a challenge.
It all started when Lily decided to enjoy her afternoon tea. She set her favorite ceramic mug, painted with little sunflowers, on the coffee table and leaned back on the couch to relax. Hammy had just woken up from his nap in his cage nearby and was ready to explore.He grabbed hold of the table leg and started climbing, his little legs working furiously.Almost… there he huffed, finally hauling himself onto the table. He paused to catch his breath, then approached the mug.
From his perch, Hammy sniffed the air. Something smelled… interesting. Sweet, a little tangy, and utterly irresistible. His tiny nose twitched as his beady eyes locked on the source—Lily’s mug.With the stealth of a ninja, Hammy wiggled his way out of the slightly open cage door (Lily really needed to double-check those latches) and scurried across the floor. His tiny paws made no sound as he reached the base of the coffee table.
